Meet the Harmony Chiropractic Team

Erin Peterson

Erin McMinn

As a child, Erin was a chiropractic patient. She had fallen and had back pain at the age of 12. She also suffered from Allergies, Exercise Induced Bronchitis and Chronic Headaches prior to the fall. These symptoms increased after the fall but no one educated her and her family on why that would be. She continued with a chiropractor for a while until her back pain subsided. Never relieving her other symptoms. Over the years, Erin's headaches turned into migraines and medication were used to mask the constant pain. Pain management chiropractic was part of Erin's life to help with her back pain, but she was not introduced to Corrective chiropractic until she began working at Harmony in 2007. Since March of 2007, Erin has been getting regular adjustments and doing physical therapy exercises to correct her subluxations and keep her healthy and well. She is happy to report- She no longer suffers from Allergies, Exercise Induced Bronchitis and rarely has a migraine.

Erin is the Office Manager of Harmony Chiropractic. She will always greet you with a smile and friendly disposition. If you have a question about chiropractic, supplements, exercises, vaccines or nutrition she is always a great source for help. Erin enjoys researching the latest reports and studies on health and today's popular science. Reaching out to patients who have not been informed and keeping everyone up to speed with the latest and greatest. Community Service is very important to Erin. For 9 years she was a Girl Scout and earned her Silver award by creating and hosting an Open Mic Nite at her church and volunteering at the local Soup Kitchen. She puts together many food, toy and coat drives within the office currently and in on the Kids Day America planning committee for South Elgin.

Dr. Curt Asks some important questions of interest to South Elgin residents - Chiropractor South Elgin Dr. Curt Asks...

How long will you need chiropractic care?
You'll need chiropractic care as long as you live in South Elgin and encounter physical, chemical or emotional stress that you cannot adapt to or accommodate. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a South Elgin chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
